I've gone to the same chick for 5 years now.
Back when I was single I used to get her to cut my hair cause a haircut by a hot chick is a good thing. Then, to my surprise, she has skill with teh scissors. $30 + $5 tip. After I started dating my wife, I got her to go, now they are friends.

I go to a barber. I pay $10 + tip and get a good haircut plus they lather up your neck with warm shaving cream, and use an old style razor. That always feels good.
I also enjoy having the same person cut my hair everytime. I hate going to Great Clips or something where you get a different person each time, and you get the same barrage of questions: What school are you going to? What's your major? Are you living in the dorms? How's your summer break been? Do you have a summer job? bla bla bla bla
