Alrighty here are the results:

As I said I bet like a doofus and was called.

Heres the kicker; you'll love this.

UTG turns over pocket kings [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]. Although I lost the pot and played the river poorly, one positive thing came out of this: I have a new buddy on my noble poker buddy list [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img].

I was kind of thinking KK for him. He probably put you on the same range of hands you put him on preflop, then your flop bet likely took care of the AK/AQ hands. Since KK is unlikely for you, he was probably planning on raising the turn, but the Q likely scared him a bit (thinkin you had AA or QQ, both of which now beat him). Pretty passive play, but not completely retarded IMO.

Also I think the check/call on the river is probably the best play. You may have saved a bet, but by you checking he may have bet out as well, so who knows.
