Re: Oklahoma City Poker
You can always come to Tulsa. Cherokee Casino in Catoosa (East on I-244) spreads 4-8, 6-12, 10-20, 20-40 HE, as well as 1-5 stud, 2-5 and 5-10 NLHE. On the weekend they'll have 10-20 Omaha/8. The higher limit games aren't always spread but there is usually pretty good action. The rake can suck, especially at the lower limits. It reaches $5 at only $30, or 16% . Overall a decent cardroom, though, especially for the area. Saw Oklahoma Johnny Hale there the other night. It was pretty cool, read Sooner track suit and all.

Re: Oklahoma City Poker
Welcome to Oklahoma, cowboy. Besides T-Bird, Lucy Star and Cherokee in Tusla, I've heard that Winstar now has a poker room too. It's south of OKC on I-35 close to the Texas border. Not sure if Goldsby or Newcastle have poker yet. Anyone else know?
Good luck with the job search |
