If you have him read for a high pair, Ace-broadway, he will definitely bet out. The main read you need is how will he play a high pair with an ace on the board. If he will lay them down to a bet, then the C/R is a good play. If he will call a bet with them, then bet out.
Of course with a C/R, if its checked through you have to be wary if a third spade comes in, but the good news is that 1 of those spades will give you the boat. Yeah, this was kindof a weak post, but I'm half asleep and at work right now. Rough combo |
