This sounds like it's right up your alley, mr. sharp dresser

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually not really. That means the poker room won't be as well stocked with fishies.

While it's an unlikely rule, I think it would mean more fishes. How many loser pro poker players shower daily let alone would own and would wear a sport coat??

is this true? i heard you must be wearing at least a sportcoat in order to enter.

[/ QUOTE ]

Its possible. They want to keep out the undesirables, the unwashed masses. I think this might be a very good idea since they plan to market themselves as the casino for the ultra rich.

If this is the case, does anyone know what the lowest limit they plan to spread is?

I think it would be great if they require a sportscoat. Doesn't mean the sportscoat has to be nice, so when I come down I'll be breaking out my circa 1978 green sportscoat. It's pimpin'.

If they turned away people at the door for not wearing a sportcoat, it would be the biggest waste of 2.7 billion dollars in history.

You are too young to have won the Masters in 1978!

The rumor I heard when I was in Vegas a few weeks ago was that the lowest limit was going to be 5-10.

Yeah, apparently Gary Player donated it to a Value Village in Olympia.

The Wynn is actually not planned to be his top-end property. He recently received approval from his Board to proceed with plans for developing, Encore, his high end offering. Read here.

[/ QUOTE ]

This property (if I understood it correctly) will commence in 3 years, and be built where the golf course currently stands.

[/ QUOTE ]

Look at the map - it's actually north of the wynn, not actually on the course.

this is obviously not true... Wynn is a business man. I am sure parts of the Wynn will require sportcoats - high class lounges, resturants... but the casino? never, not even for opening night
- Vegas gets to be about 110 degrees in July... the Wynn is trying to attract tourists... simple common sense

on the other hand, I do hope theyre more worried about sportcoats than stuff like card counting, gives me a place to hide the black chips... [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
