Its possible. They want to keep out the undesirables, the unwashed masses. I think this might be a very good idea since they plan to market themselves as the casino for the ultra rich.

Many of the ultra rich are spoiled trust-fund baby slobs. Think Spalding from Caddy Shack; they will certainly want the likes of him playing in there.

I doubt this is true. It's certainly possible but not likely.

The Wynn is actually not planned to be his top-end property. He recently received approval from his Board to proceed with plans for developing, Encore, his high end offering. Read here.

This property (if I understood it correctly) will commence in 3 years, and be built where the golf course currently stands.

On a related note I spoke with my boss who is an associate of Steve Wynn about the dress code requirements, and has had the inside scoop on this property better than anyone else I know. He said (and I quote): "Don't know. Doubt it."

I guess my above statement is semi-confirmed by the article: " Kramer said the company will evaluate plans for the golf course as part of a possible master-planned redevelopment of the entire site."
