Yeah, seriously... how can I learn to make $15,000 in less than 1.5k hands?

Edit: Holy crap your VP$IP is high... is that a normal Omaha thing?

About a month ago I made 280 big bets in six hours and didn't play again for a week. I don't have a professional attitude.

Short answer: no.

Slightly less-short answer: he clearly did a bunch of postflop outplaying. If you're just learning the game your vpip will be much, much lower. Your stats shouldn't be that far off from those you'd have in hold'em.

Over the last 2 weeks I've played a bunch of the new Party100NL and 100PL HE, some drunken 2/4 HE and 25NL 6max, 75 20+2NL SNGs, 10-15 30+3/50+5MTTs, and some 100PL Omaha.

Total: $6.70

No big upswings/downswings in the process. I've been +200 and -350, but those are the extremes.

In some respects this is even more disheartening to me than a sizeable downswing (some, not all). Then at least I'd have accomplished _something_. I'm sure the folks at Gamblers Anonymous would have something to say about that one
