Did I try to drive before 16? No. Did I try to sneak into bars? No.

But, I did a whole bunch of other stupid under-aged things when I was underage. Didn't make them any less stupid, nor did it make them a good idea.

People under 21 (maybe even under 25) just haven't developed the judgment for gambling and drinking, and an awful lot over 25 haven't either.

Life may be short, but it's long enough that you should wait your turn. And you'll do less damage to yourself.
