You've used that chair so much, you have a huge dent in it! BTW, how much do you put your feet up? like % of time during poker sessions. My legs fall asleep while sitting uncomfortable, I rarely play more than 2 hours at a time though.

I got the same thing. Very nice. I play 1000 hands a day and have no back problems.

I have a bean bag pillow behind my back. Very comfortable for my back. But my chair hurts my butt. I should get a new one. Its very dirty anyway.

About 95% of the time. Mostly on the footstool, but sometimes on the table (the chair can be switched to a more bed-like position). I play up to 10 hours a time in this setting, with no problems. I think it's a killer seat. Much more comfy for the mouse controlling arm than a regular chair (where the mouse and keyboard are on the same table as the monitor).

Throw in a breezing fan, a glass of cognac, and life is sweet.

Good call, jokerthief.

When I went chair shopping at the local OfficeMax and Staples nearly every chair on display had something on it that was broken. Since I spend a lot of time in my chair, I did some research on high-end ergonomic chairs

The Freedom Chair was my choice. I shopped around and got one with the gel seat, advanced gel arms, and headrest for $847.

The Leap Chair was also close in the running for me. I happened to see a NASA mission control room on TV and all the chairs were Leap.

They’re not for everybody, but if you make your living at the computer it is definitely +EV to go high-end ergonomic in your workspace.

I used to work at office max and I think pretty much all the chairs there are pieces of crap myself. On the day I quit I stole a $150 chair from there which is pretty nice. It was the most comfortable chair they had there in my opinion. I can't remember who makes it, but it's pretty comfortable. For the price I got it at, it's a good buy. When I have to replace this one I'm gonna get something nice.

this chair i have now is a peice of shlt. im not sure what its called, but the fabric is that standard office type chair. it smells like ass and if i sit on it in my non sleeping clothes it contaminates that too. does leather absorb the smell of my ass too?

Don't you have furniture a bit close to the heater, or I am I seeing things?

Go ahead and steal. Some links to the stuff at IKEA:

Computer work station. MIKAEL. $89.00. (I built the mouse pad table with the upper parts of the desk.)

http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/store...ts=10121*10390

Swivel chair. MALUNG. $169.00. (Price gone up since I bought it, or simply cheaper in Sweden.)

http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/store...ts=10114*10292

Footstool. MALUNG. $30.00

http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/store...ts=10114*10292

Caution though: the desk max weight is 25 kg, but I think it will hold for more; I have a 32 kg CRT on it now, and will add 8 kg more when the 2001fp arrives. With the CRT on the more robust right side of the desk I think it will be ok.
