NJTP is a pain because there is no interchange with the expressway and you have to drive 10+ miles on a one lane road to get to it as a result. There is traffic and traffic lights meaning delays and you don't want to be that close after a 3 hour drive and going 5 mph.

[/ QUOTE ]

You can take either exit #2 or #3 from the NJTP and follow the signs to the expressway from there. There is very poor signage on the NJTP though and if you miss #3 it is about 15 miles to the next exit, so watch for it.

I take 322 - it's basically a bunch of sideroads (all considered 322), but it constantly tells you that the ACE is up ahead.

Not if you take exit 3 and cut through the industrial park.

Interesting. Where is the industrial park? I don't recall having seen anything that fits this description.

I've only had to do this once, but I took the Turnpike to 322 to Williamston Rd to the AC Expressway. Mileage-wise it appears the best, but depending on what time of day you're going, it could be slow-moving on 322.

322 is rarely slow-moving.

Default Re: Directions to ACE from Exit 3

come off exit 3 and head NORTH toward Camden.

Make a left at the first light (wendy's on left)

Follow that road through the industrial park to the stop sign.

Make a left and then a quick right (DO NOT GET ON HIGHWAY)

Go up the hill, and make a left (cross over the top of the highway) and make the first left.

Make a left at the dead end to get on Rte. 42 South.

Route 42 South picks up the beginning of the ACE.

You'll thank me for this one.
