it's fair to discount QJ, QT, or JT because of this, but you're still ahead most of the time. even if you raise, there's a chance TT will just call. keep in mind he limped in EP. most players who limp with JJ or TT aren't overly aggressive postflop. that's really a side concern though. you're going to be shown a straight the vast majority of the time

He capped the turn when he couldn't possibly have been any better than tied with you, so I don't hink him leading the river is that significant.

his point is that 2 very probable hands for hero, AA and KK, now beat QJ, whereas on the turn they didn't

I'm also with you, though--I'm not so sure he'd stop to think about that fact, or even notice it if he did.

Nothing about the way UTG+2 played this hand makes me think he's a good player, except in that rare case where he's holding 66.

Absolutely. The last thing I want is for it to get checked through and have some guy with A6s or 78 get a free look at the turn. If they're going to check it to you, I think this is an automatic flop bet.
