It is the worst form of trolling, by far.

I think I've felt the need to delete 2 posts in over a year, we can live without the option. I'd rather read 20% rakeback or whatever in a sig than have 50 old threads on the first 5 pages.

Good point. Simlpy getting rid of this feature would solve the problem. And posts could still be edited so if you wouldn't like what you wrote, you could erase/rewrite it.

And for the idiot bumping troll: hope you get rivered by 2 outers as often as you bump stuff.

Someone should email Chuck to see if the delete function can be disabled without disabling the edit function. If you make a mistake you can just edit your post to say "post deleted by poster"

The delete function for the original post of a thread that has not been replied to should be retained if possible (this would reduce clutter).

Another option would be to set up a system to keep a record of every post made, so if a post is deleted, the moderator can look up a post to see who made the post that was deleted.

This really is a simple common sense solution. Seeing that we can edit posts the delete option is used only by ghost bumpers.

And people like me who realize how stupid their posts are only after hitting the submit button (and sometimes not even then). But point taken.

All,
Great, you've done a brilliant job of educating every idiot alive how to ghost bump...

Maybe this should have been handled by way of PM to the Mods

Long live the ghost bumpers

Someone please delete this thread

Like it was some big secret? The topic has come up before.
BTW, don't tell anyone about my favorite fishing site, Empirepoker.com, I could use as few 2+2's hanging around there as possible.

Well I don't think "ghost bumping" should be a bannable (wtf?) offense but it seems like something only a real deuche would do. So probably best to go ahead and stop Hitler in Munich and ban him now.

just don't confuse "wake_Up_CALL" the troll with "Wake up CALL" the often controversial Pooh-Bah.

Thank-you Lazymeatball. I just happened upon this thread and thought I was being banned without a trial. I even got a PM from Thomasterm accusing me of ghost-bumping and was totally confused.

I doubt anyone other than a useless liberal really has much reason to be against me or my opinions!
