I also don't understand why one would want to alert them to this....especially BEFORE taking advantage of it for yourself.
Thankfully, Empire doesn't seem to care to acknowledge the fact that anyone can get this bonus.

The good news is that they never take away a bonus that you have in your account, but it would not surprise me if they correct their software to reject reloaders and only accept first time depositers. So act quickly if you haven't already, but don't email Empire if it doesn't work for you.

Hate to repeat this, but I think everyone here would appreciate it if you didn't alert Empire to working bonuses that have a high likelihood of being unintentional. Even if they don't take it away from people who have it, others might learn of it later while it's still operable. Plus it reduces the chance they will make a similar mistake in the future.
