He 3 bet pre-flop from the big or small blind and then check-called the flop. Now I know that right there isn't enough information, but it didn't seem right to me. Sometimes things don't seem right and I know what my opponent has. Maybe other players can't relate. Had to call down with the set anyways due to the pot odds if I'm wrong, but I was sure enough he had top set to not value bet.

And I'm not paranoid. I've only felt my opponent had top set when I held middle set twice before, and those are the only two times I've lost middle set to top set.

All ya gotta do in those situations is bet out b/c you know you're gonna spike the 4th J on the river [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
