I might be there, but not for the tournaments. I have a good chance of being in Boston the week of the championship, so I will try to drive down after work and check things out.

I have off work the first week of November, so I may spend a few days up there. If there's going to be some sort of 2+2 dinner/meetup, someone please PM me to let me know...

-- Thanks, Homer

It's not a rumor

BTW Kurn, when the heck am I going to see you again down at FW's?

You're one of the few folks in a poker room whose political views coincide precisely with mine!

Default Question for Kurn

When there's an Act III each day, you get a lot of deal-making opportunities in the Act IIs from people who only have that one day to earn their shot in the WPT event.

Kurn,

How would a deal go down? There are no transfers of Act II wins, correct?

Peace,
Joe Tall

correct but just as a guess i'm sure they would just "give up" intentionally at the end of the tourney.

I would love to do a meet and greet, but I have a feeling I'm going to be exhausted most of the time. If someone can organize it, that would be great, I just don't think that I can.

Give me the when and where, and I'll just show up, unless somehow I make it deep into a tourney that day.

The deal goes down before the end of the Act II. Heads up one player offers the other cash to concede. If it's acceptable to both players, the house won't argue. I saw a lot of cash change hands last year when it got to heads-up.

Sorry, but I won't be able to organize this one. I'm moving the weekend of the 31st (Happy Birthday Felicia), and closing on my new house on the 3rd. The good news is that I'll be living about 25 minutes closer to Foxwoods because of the move!

If someone does organize something, please PM me. I'd love to get away from the moving hassle for dinner with all the 2+2ers.

Joe
