an overpair is worth 40BBs to me, if they both had 5k it would be different

Im sure 77 seemed plenty good as it was top set. I've seen plays in this game which seem plenty crazy and dwarf this example (e.g. calling off a full 5K stack w/44 on a flop of 872) but its difficult to judge with no context or knowledge of how each of the players has been playing.
