Hand I saw at UB $25-$50, is this normal?
 

Some guy LP($5000+) raises around $175, SB($2000),I believe, calls, flop cames 267, SB checks, LP bets around 300, SB raises almost all in for $1300+, LP thinks for like 10 secs raises and SB goes all in, LP shows JJ?? SB shows 77 but an jack cames on the river, is this normal on this tables?Am I wrong here but the guy made an extremely stupid call?

This is normal and i don't think any player misplayed it if they were both unknowns to each other.

77 has a pretty standard play. JJ has to play like this because 1. 88 99 TT play this way (and don't usually fold), 2. 89 does. 3. Sets in most players hands always wait untill the turn (giving themselves 'outed' shania). The disadvantage is that 66 77 22 67 sometimes play like this. Yet even A7 sometimes.

That may be standard but not this one, 4 people limp, flop is AA2, some guy($4500) bets around 500, two fold, other guy($5000) raises $1700, first guy goes all in and shows A8(at least it was suited) the other shows AQ and takes it down, I`m pretty sure this is not standard, right?

Yes, stupid plays can be found at every level. No, this does not mean that if you had 50K to spare you could compete in this game.

First of all you leave out the most important fact about the 25/50 table, is it short handed or a full ring game? Much more often than not that table is 4 players or less which necessitates several ratchets up of the aggression level. Secondly without some context of who is playing and what their styles are your comments are meaningless, the player with JJ could have been running over the table for the last 30 minutes which Spirit Rock is prone to doing with utter garbage and under those circumstances 77 might have seemed good enough. That is by no means your standard game, most of the players there are very, very good, if you show up and try to be a rock and play Sklansky correct poker you won't see the slightest bit of action after the flop except when your TPTK is crushed.

I agree completely. There is quite a bit more going on here than people realize.

That is so absolutely true. From the looks you think the game is extremely easy at that level and that playing rock solid will win you money, but you will be predictable. You will lose as quoted.
