[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] You would probably have to call him for a quote. [/ QUOTE ] I don't want a quote, I was just curious.. I assumed that since you guys are getting a 'group buy' together that you would have looked into this. Maybe i'm missing something, but the site says $0.75/chip with custom 2 color inlay, and you guys are paying $0.85/chip with a stock inlay? The stock chips are $.90 each (is there a minimum quantity for these?), so I assume he is giving you a price break on quantity, and then charging extra for edgespot customization? Seems kinds strange to me... J5 [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I asked him about this. It's because we are doing dual edge spots. That quote is for a 2-color inlay, single color edge spots, and does not include artwork fees. The reason we are using the King's Crown inlay is simply because I like it...it's a perfect example of classic casnino style, and that's what I was going for. An attempt on choosing an inlay for a group buy over at another forum was a disaster - just look how hard it was to settle on a color scheme here! Anyway, here is the final color scheme. An official interest thread will follow soon: $0.25 (non-denom?) Gray w/ 4x Double-Wide Dark Blue $1 - Dark Blue w/ Double-Wide Light Blue/White $5 - Red w/ Gray/Black $25 - Green w/ Light Green/Pink $100 - Black w/ Red/Light Turquoise $500 - Purple w/ Orange/White $1000 (non-denom?) - Yellow w/ Green/Dark Blue

$.75 is no spot at 5k minimum
They don't really have an art charge if you have art that's ready to pop on your chips. If they have to monkey with stuff it is $100. Bopping off the . after Nevada should not be problematic. Spots are more work, therefore more $$ than non-spotted. The inlay - theirs or yours - doesn't matter much. The 'stock' ones they have sitting around - although they did not have every color stock inlay sitting around when I called. So I don't know what Dennis has popped in the mail for me. He seemed to understand what I wanted - a look at a set of colors and I'm looking forward to getting more. I got my ASM. I don't like the HH and do like the A. Exact opposite of what I thought my reaction would be... |

[/ QUOTE ] Same thing happened with me and ASM -- From the pics I liked the Roman the best and wasn't crazy about the A mold. When I got samples I didn't like the roman at all and like the A mold best. |

Before I post the "official" thread, I would like to settle what we're going to do about the non-denomination chip. Personally, I definitely want one, for a variety of reasons. So, the question is - should it be the $0.25 (gray) or the $1000 (yellow)? Also, I asked Dennis about a slight modification to the inlay for the security concerns; I will let you know what he says.

I don't understand why they are necessary "for weight" when T.R. King does a fine job of making a "heavier" chip w/o that addition... |

I'd like a denom on the .25 and not the $1000 since I will need less $1000 chips.

These aren't going to be 'high security' chips. [/ QUOTE ] Heard back from Dennis. He said he will not make the King's Crown chips with these color combinations for anyone else but me (us). So I guess he is essentially "copyrighting" them internally at T.R. King for us... |
