How do you feel about playing Ax offsuit?

Is it normal to be playing any ace in the SB? I know I'm tighter in the SB than most 2+2ers but I usually don't play below A8o or so there.

I like your post flop play though.

5 limpers to him, if the BB isn't crazy, he should probably play any 2 here, looking for 2 pair or better on the flop. when he just gets top pair, check, see the action. call an EP bet if its not raised. raise an LP bet to try to isolate.

But long-term is this a +EV play?

I think any ace in the SB is pretty worthwhile now and then, of course I could be outkicked and stuff. Had A9o in the SB yesterday and accidently threw it away on the A-high flop and would've beaten QQ.

I can't imagine calling A5o in SB is a long term +EV play. With so many limpers, I would think domination is likely if your Ace falls on the flop.
