Whoops I meant BB was a semi LAP.

Was my turn raise too aggressive considering BB c/r on the flop?

When I get c/r on the flop is it a good idea to check/call to show down TP+ second kicker or even fold the turn?

Thanks

Hi CT --

If you ever consider folding the turn in this spot, I will personally fly across the Internet and smack you.

you played the hand well. many players would check-raise that flop with a flush draw or other, less reasonable hands. and in this spot, against opponents who will follow through with a turn bet after c-ring a flush draw, I very often just call the flop c-r planning to raise the turn as you did.

just my 2c.

cheers,

mn

I think I raise the river if he is LAG (with possible busted heart draw?).

LAG generally means Loose Aggressive Game, but many people use it to refer to a Loose AGgressive player. LAP can also mean Loose Aggressive Player.

Usually you can tell from the context what people mean.

Thanks for the input. BB had AJ .
I dropped 30bb in only a coupple hours in similar hands and I'm wondering if Ed Miller's book made me too aggressive or if I just hit a bad streak. I think I've made some mistakes recently but not enough to kill me. I find it tough to figure out whats bad play and whats bad luck in some cases.

Thanks
