question about a hand
PartyPoker $30 Limit Holdem SnG tourney.
three people left in the game. hand is heads-up. I don't know the exact cards, but... The flop shows three low hearts, and I hit top pair. (I have no hearts.) I bet, get a call. turn shows another heart, but gives me two pair. I bet utg, get raised. I believe I'm shortstacked. What do I do? |

Re: question about a hand
Fold - Live to fight another day. You have to put him on a flush. The odds do not justify drawing to a boat.

Re: question about a hand
It's been a long time since I played a limit tourny, but I believe the best play would be to lay it down. I think it's just too unlikely that he's bluffing(because it doesn't work as well in limit) so chances are he's made a flush. You have only 6 outs and 1 card to come, so your chances of improving are pretty bleak. On the other hand if you've seen him playing loosely and bluffing alot, then call.

Re: question about a hand
That's what I did. Still, I was wondering if he might be trying to make a play one, but the chances he had to have the flush were just too much to call ...
