Default Borgata during the WPT event

Hey all,

I'm going to be at the Borgata from 9/22-9/24. The 22nd is the final day of the WPT event there.

I've never played in a card room during or around a major tounrnament. Should I expect a deviation from the normal "quality" (ie. toughness/softness) of the mid-level games (most likely 10/20 limit HE)?

Thanks

You should expect to have a very hard time getting into a game.

During the WPT event last year, the Borgata spread a lot of games much bigger than 10/20 and, since it's a small room, they didn't have a lot of tables left over for the barely mid-limit games.

Expect to play a lot more at the Taj than you normally would.

In terms of "toughness," the 10/20 games in AC are retardedly soft. I doubt that the WPT event will do much to shift the general level of absurd softness.

If you played 80/160 and higher or large blind big bet hold em, then the presence of the tournament would be a bonanza. For 10/20 it just doesn't matter.

The Borgata has added 10 tables in the Bus lounge (next to the buffet) for the WPT event. Even so it was mobbed last night.
