Default That Mark guy.

What the heck was that!!! Ugliest play I have seen in a long time...but thats just my opinion.
Top pair, takes too much dam time on flop, check river, calls all in on river(cant blame him for the all in call).

Then all in with J2 saved his ass. I didnt watch the earlier showing.

Does anyone have any comments on his play?

Bye Mark...you shouldn't have been there in the first place. Good game.

give him a break dude. He doesn't play much poker. He was there for the novelty of it. I thought it was a good idea for the WPT guys to have him there. Gives hope to those who would like to play with Gus Hansen and co, but will never ever get the scratch together to do so. Even with ultra-cheap satellites, some players will never play in a big event.

He had fun. That's what matters.

For what it's worth, I've played against worse players in decent sized NL cash games.

To the kids credit, he let others knock each other out and he finished third. He also surprised me when he layed down AQ on the turn. In that hand he had TPTK, on a scarey board, and gus bet this straight, and mark makes a good fold. Also, the kid mark, never claimed to a be a good player, he was just "lucky" to be there. Rather refreshing to see, if you ask me.

J2s was on his BB and he's so low in chips by that point, any 2 would do...

You haven't gotten far in tournaments apparently....

This is a typical move for a # of unlucky low chipped folks....

The announcers even said that at the time...

I've had people put me all in at the final table with a terrible hands... it's at their own peril, since I have to call in certain circumstances with ANYTHING.

At that point any 2 suited cards starts to look GOOD!

Desperation requires desperate measures and the reason on BB you need to make your stand is because your recovery potential is MAXed at that point, I learned this through experience.... valuable tip IMHO.

A free trip to Vegas. (Winner also got a $25K entry into the WPT championship event.)

Easy guy.... If you watch him as he leaves the interview, you see a large pair of cuffs hanging out of his back pocket. I am not making it up...
