Default ROI breakdown

Assume 30% ROI at Party 50-200 SNGs. Assume player is equally strong in:

1. early play when stacks are relatively deep
2. on bubble (i.e. 4-6 players left)
3. ITM (especially heads-up)

Where does the 30% come from? Based on much $200 play and some thought on the subject, I believe it's about 9,10,8 (compounded gets you to 30). Eastbay or anyone do any calculations to shed light on this? Also, I'm wondering if bubble play edge is proportional for short, medium, large stack situations, assuming equal abilities at each? I suspect it is.

Default Re: ROI breakdown

Ian,

This may be a bit off topic for you, but how do you think this break down changes as you go down in limits? I play mostly $10 buyins at Stars and I would have put (1) far below (2) and (3) with (2) being the most important. I think its interesting, but not unsurprising, that (1) would increase in importance as the skill level of players increases.

Default Re: ROI breakdown

RoI is a combination of your ITM and how well you did ITM (1st, 2nd, 3rd)

The calculation is deeper then I could think of, and relitivly unimportant. Concentrating on getting ITM, and playing correctly will parallel your roi.
