Re: UTG+1, K9s
Kxs is a hand I've weaned myself away from limping with even in good games. Not so much because it's unplayable but because I'm just barely not good enough at getting away from it if I don't get hammered by the flop. (I'll go a little too far if the flop drops king-rag-rag with one of my suit)

Re: UTG+1, K9s
[ QUOTE ]
I don't know if Clark has specifically stated otherwise, but most people limp with Axs in EP in typical micro games. I haven't checked the SSH hand rankings in a while but I think even HPFAP says this. Maybe Clark doesn't do it in his 40-80, but I do it at 1/2 all the time. NT [/ QUOTE ] I guess I'm playing too closely to the style recommended by Lee Jones in WLLHE. He recommends not playing AXs from early position, since you don't know if you're getting correct odds to hit your flush. I'll admit that for good post-flop players, AXs should be playable from EP in a loose-passive game. |

Re: UTG+1, K9s
don't worry so much about domination in unraised pots, unless your kicker is like ridiculously low. 9 is not ridiculously low.

Re: UTG+1, K9s
"If you don't play AXs out of position, why K9s?"
I *do* play Axs out of position in LL games. |
