44 in SB vs. blind steal.
Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed)
Preflop: Hero is SB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG folds, MP folds, CO folds, Button raises, Hero calls, BB folds. Flop: (5 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, Button checks. Turn: (2.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls. River: (4.50 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls. Final Pot: 6.50 BB Is this a good hand to showdown with a button raiser that checked the flop? I almost folded when the Ace came on the river though. |

Re: 44 in SB vs. blind steal.
I'm not a big fan of defending my blind with small PP in general against a steal attempt.
However, when he checks the flop, you need to bet the turn and not let him draw to his overcards for free. |
