Live action vs Online
My hypothesis is that on average, online plays 2X tighter than live action. IE, 2-4 online plays like 4-8 live, 3-6 online like 6-12 live,
With the acception being there are more fish/calling stations on line. Others thoughts? If you agree, how do you adjust your game online vs live action. |

Re: Live action vs Online
typically its my experience that 2/4 live players are the worst players on the face of the earth. this doesn't really change for me until maybe 6/12

Re: Live action vs Online
You should change your game depending upon the specific type of game you are in at the moment, regardless of the location. I've been in live 3/6 games that are very tight/aggressive. I've also been in online 3/6 games in which no one appears to be able to operate any other button but "call."
Don't waste your time on how to adjust for perceived differences between live and online play. Just figure out the type of game you happen to be in and adjust accordingly. |

Re: Live action vs Online
agreed.....I think most 2/4 live players know just enough about the game to be competent, but really have no clue how to actually PLAY......2/4 live games are insanely profitable if you can deal with the occasional ridiculous beat and play at a high level.....

Re: Live action vs Online
almost every live 3/6 table i've played at in the bay has poorer play than a party .5/1 table.

Re: Live action vs Online
Live players are more loose and more passive.
Basically they suck |
