Re: Party NL$100: Need a check, 9 regular hands from my session today.
With KTs
Odds to flop a flush is something like 120 to 1 odds to flop a straight is something like 230 to 1 Thank you. So you see, implied odds really dont pay here... |

Re: Party NL$100: Need a check, 9 regular hands from my session today.
Just my thoughts:
Hand 1: Blind stealing. Ok. Fire at it and lay it down. Agreed. Hand 2: 42 off? I fold here in most cases. I suppose if it's a tight table with lots of folds around, Nope... even then I fold that hand. Hand 3: More blind stealing. Ok. That's a big bet to win $2. Hand 4: I like it. Calling the raise because he's probably blind stealing. Representing the draw, then the flush. You had outs even if. Hand 5: I don't like limping with AK. Raise raise raise. There is already $8 in the pot. I don't like the call on the flop. Raise it. Hand 6: Again, why the limp and why the check on the flop with TPTK? Hand 7: I like the fold. Dangerous kicker, you're probably beat. I know some would call it down, but I don't like the kicker, I can play the next hand. Hand 8's: I don't like putting my chips in pre-flop. The first hand, he pushed, I'd lay down QQ here in most cases. Depends on what I know about the player and table. The second one, I'd just call his reraise and see the flop and out play him (hopefully) after the flop. |

Hand 1
Hand 1
Check the flop, you cant have AA everytime so your liable to get check raised by a PP. You have an inside straight draw and your opponent may fold on the turn if a scare card hits. |

Re: Hand 1
Thx for the comments everyone..! I'm going to think abut some things.. Some very good suggestions!
[ QUOTE ] 42 off? I fold here in most cases. I suppose if it's a tight table with lots of folds around, Nope... even then I fold that hand. [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Hand 2: I fold preflop [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] For both of the previous hands, you're putting in too much just to win the blinds. This can be ok, but both hands were absolute garbage. I'd rather make this type of move with a hand that has some value if you see a flop. [/ QUOTE ] Well, the point is that I don't play my cards in the CO and Button.. To me it I can have K6 or Q8 or 24.. It's the same junk hands.. And to be honest I would rather have 24 than Q8.. You cant get into to much troubles with the 24 hand but if you are not to careful you can put yourself into some big troubles with the Q8 hand. The point with stealing the blinds is if I get called both pre-flop and on my flop steal and still continue to showdown and putting in more money into he pot. Then I have done something very wrong! But I think I need to steep down a little bit on the blind stealing.. [ QUOTE ] Hand 3: We get the point. You are mad aggressive in blind warfare, you dont like small blind limpers, so you will raze their villages/burn their people/yadda yadda yadda. I wouldn't have done this, only because you're risking 10 to win 2, and if they do call, their hand rates to be MUCHOS better. [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Hand 3: I check through [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Hand 3: More blind stealing. Ok. That's a big bet to win $2. [/ QUOTE ] Don't you do that? I thought everyone would fire out regardless which cards they have when you heads up with the SB and you are the BB, and the SB only completes his blind! That is a definitely EV move! At least on Party's NL$100 tables. I can honestly say that they fold around 80-90% off the time. (There is a reason they only completed their blind.. If they got a good hand they would have raised) And even if they call you got position under the whole hand and can win the pot fairly easy if they act weak. Or I could flop something big with my junk hand! If that happens you could win a lot off money beacuse they put you on two big cards.. Very nice! Everybody should try it out! It doesn’t matter what your cards are.. Raise! I usually raise to $10. In a $1/$2 game. |

No not very often.. If I sit very long at a table with the same player in the SB position they can start fighting back.. But that don't happen very often! And sometimes they start to fold the blinds to me instead off puting more money in it.. Beacuse they know I going to raise it.. That is also very nice |
