When to move up?
I see the most common answer to "when to move up" is "when you're crushing the current game."
Well, what does that translate into in NL? Currently I'm playing at $1+.10 buy-ins at UB and finish in the money roughly 2/3rds of the time. My ROI is easily in the 30% range. The next jump is the $5+$.50 games. I know the game won't change that much, but I'm nervous about the change in risk -- i don't have a huge bankroll. Should I just keep at the $1 tables until my bankroll is some multiple of the buy in for the next level (if so, what multiple?) Or does a few weeks of daily winning suggest I've learned what I can learn at this level and I should move up before I learn too many bad habits that only work 'cuse the other players are worse than me? Thoughts? Advice? |
