Do you bet this middle pair for value?!?

I feel like this hand was a big mess on my part. When I see it checking around, I can't help but think that I'm ahead...so I bet. How should I have played this one (or is this okay) ?

When the flop gets checked around, I'll throw a turn bet down.. It didn't get raised, and your 9 is still 2nd pair.. That's worth a bet, but I'd be praying it didn't get raised!

I like your bet on the turn and river. If it was reraised I would throw it away, but since it wasn't it doesn't really matter. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] My guess is that no one has jacks, MP might also have a 9 with a better kicker, but I still liket the bets.

Maybe I'm just being too results oriented [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] MP1 shows J9 (?!?) and takes the pot with her two pair...I think she forgot the "raise" half of check raise...

I think you played it fine. It's an easy fold on the turn if you are raised.

ck fold the turn..you have nothing invested here(bb forced bet)flush draw and st8 draw and over card on board you middle pair with no kicker..small pot weak hand ..fold every time

No. I only bet the river cuz I have 2nd pair, and encountered zero resistance along the way.

You can't check-raise if nobody bets.. She got screwed there, the check-raise whiffed.. Then she smooth-called the turn hoping players would stay in.. Didn't happen, she may as well have raised there.. A river raise is an order though, she screwed herself on that one...
