bankroll requirements are the same for 8 tables as one table assuming your EV is not affected negatively by playing 8 tables.

if you start with a normal bankroll and play 8 tables, you can very easily get to the point where you're forced to sit with smaller amounts of money than you'd like. i like to have at least 100 bets for each table when multitabling.

In theory, you don't need a larger bankroll for multitabling than you do for playing one table at a time.

In theory, you need a slightly larger bankroll since your win rate per table will drop some when multitabling. As astroglide points out, there's also the practical consideration of just having enough cash to buy in (and rebuy if necessary) at 8 or more tables.

Default Just for old times sake (sorry, couldn\'t resist)

Wait, isn't playing 8 tables of 15-30 just like playing 1 table of 120-240? So you need $70k right?

long live poker horse.

Default Questions like this............

[ QUOTE ]
I'm considering starting to play 8 tables on 15/30 PP and wondering what is the proper bankroll? I have noticed when I sit at just 1 table that the swings are very dramatic due to the way the game plays and don't think 300BB is enough. What do you think is a realistic number for 8 tabling the 15/30?

[/ QUOTE ]

Make me realize why the 15/30 on Party is such a good game.

I do 7 tables, but I play 2/4, so it's not that hard.
