SBC Yahoo Browser hijacked

I have a DSL line at home through SBC Yahoo. Until recently, when I would open a new browser window (or click on a hyperlink that opened a new window), another SBC Yahoo window would pop up, as it should.

For the last 10 days, however, whenever I try and open a new browser window, it automatically opens an Internet Explorer window, and it does it very slowly.

I spent an hour on the phone with the SBC Yahoo tech guy last night, but to no avail.

Clearly, some spyware or something is hijacking my browser. I have run Adaware and Spybot Search and Destroy, and it hasn't fixed the problem.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas? Any computer/tech forums that I could post this on?

Run a custom adaware scan (Make sure you update the data file before you do anything) set to scan EVERYTHING. Run that. Reboot into safe mode, run again. Reboot, run again.

Then run another free one, Spybot maybe.

Then download and run Hijack This, and post the log in their forum. They'll finish it off for ya.

I had a similar problem and posted it in their forum. They have tech guys on call for these sort of things.
