Limit vs NL Ring games

about six months ago I made the move over to NL ring games exclusively, and been seeing my game erode... After my talk about the OIC (see other post), I thought what about limit.

So I took what I had left in Prima ($25 it was) and set forth via the rules of the OIC (.50/1 limit), and something I quite dont know yet occured...

While my previous months have all shown a loss, the 2 sessions I had tonight in .50/1 limit took that $25 from $25 to $76 in not much time at all (an hour or so)...

Now thinking on it, the only realiziation I can come up with is playing limit it's forcing me not to play chases/bluffs nearly as much as I was, and/or the players are just that much worse (wonder about that, cause I usually play .25/.50 NL ($50 buyin)). Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
