Neteller problems, i give up.
Neteller has temporarily blocked my account due to changing my email address with them. They now require that I send a copy of my ID to get my account unblocked.
I have scanned and sent a copy of my ID to neteller when I first opened my account, they now say that they have no record of this. Regarding this situation, I say to neteller... SCREW YOU. Get over yourselves, their customer service staff are rude and arrogant, their services over-priced. Instead of new poker sites popping up everywhere, why doesn't someone create a site to compete with neteller? Surely this would be much more profitable than 'Rake Free' or similar sites. My neteller flaming has only just begun. outs |

I'm pretty sure they get paid from the poker sites like party.

Re: Neteller problems, i give up.
For Canadians, they have their own exchange rates. They get a point or 2 from every dollar. Its not much but when you cashout 1000's it adds up.
Also, they won't let Canadians keep the funds in USD, we MUST exchange the funds. This applies to debit card and EFT withdrawls. outs |

Re: Neteller problems, i give up.
Like credit card companies they charge a fee to the sites they do business with, so party and other sites pay a fee (I believe per transaction) to neteller for getting the money into the site so the site can rake it away.

I also had problems with Neteller. They kept blocking my account for harebrained reasons and asking me to call them. I answered them I was mute and they closed down my account.

[/ QUOTE ] They charge fees to the depositee on any transfer (with the exception of withdrawing back to your bank account), so casinos/pokerrooms pay a small fee for the privilege of getting your business, and if you transfer dough to a friend's neteller acct your friend will get charged a small fee. I figure they also make $ the way all banks do: invest it somehow while it's in their hands. Most of the posters here probably have hundreds or thousands sitting in neteller - notice we aren't getting any interest on that $ - they are. |

Re: Neteller problems, i give up.
neteller were good when I mopved from one country to another. I got in touch with them - in advance - and their support were helpful about making the change.
I like the fact they're strict about ensuring it's really you. |

Re: Neteller problems, i give up.
Exactly - I would be more worried if they DIDN'T have strict checks on their customers. Now I feel at least somewhat like my money is in safe hands, since they seem to act like a serious business should act.
