Default Mirage 6/12 questions

Anyone played 6/12 Hold'em at the Mirage much lately?

What chips do they use in that game, $3?

I'm taking a stab at it, a good game there usually?
I figured on going on a Friday or Saturday night for my first shot.
Figured on buying in for $300.
Looks like waits for above 4/8 are short, right?

TIA!

I played there last week. Most people use mostly $5 chips along with $1 chips. Some the games are pretty soft especially late at night on the weekends. Although I did have a few tough sessions where there were a bunch of rocks. I don't think Mirage has 4/8.

Mirage: 3/6, 6/12, 10/20

Bellagio: 4/8, 8/16, 15/30

The 6/12 game is a great game, even with a bunch of Tight Old White Guys during the weekdays. You just have to adjust your play. Same goes for the 8/16 at the Bellagio.

$300 is a good first buy-in, but don't be surprised if you have to re-load.

You'll probably get more input in the B&M forum.

Yeah I debated which one to post this in, but the B&M was a bit dead on these type of inquiries as of late, and this one was not... that is what influenced me to post it here...

I thought they'd use $3 chips in that game!
