Its just not something I feel you should be bringing up in a job interview. Think about it for a bit.
Its not stereotyping. You of all people should know what kind of stigma gambling has in this country. Yes its legal in some areas, but 95% of people's encounters with gambling come on cruise ships and vacations to Vegas. If you gamble more than that, then you "must have a problem". I also don't want to hire someone just like me. There is only room in our company for one of us. |

Be inventive: tell them you are an on-line investment specialist, investing primarily in Blue Chip commodities (they don't need to know you are talking about pocket rockets or big slick) and that occasionally you will take a run at some "speculative holdings" when previous transactions indicate favorable conditions for a decent Return On Investment (everyone has limped in and you're on the button with 7 8 suited). Of course, if they start talking to you about the Dow Jones Industrials or Nasdaq ........ well, you're on your own.
