Starting a bankroll from $0
I'm sure this has been done before, right? I think I'd like to try this because:
a) I'd like to play online poker for money and b) I don't feel like depositing money into it right now. Regardless of what you think of those reasons, I'd like to know who else has done this. Obviously, it would start with placing in a freeroll, right? Anyone know what sites offer good chances in decent-sized freeroll tourneys? |

There\'s an easier way
Well I'm too lazy to withdraw so I'll back you at low limit.
Play my account, with 50% profit incentive, if you are up you get to keep half. To discourage the downside, you get $50 if you break even after a week, deducted in proportion to your lost if you come short of it. Email me if interested. |

Re: Starting a bankroll from $0
I've done it twice. Once on fabulous poker I won 250 promobucks however due to an error on the server instead of being promobucks they gave it to me as cash I could withdraw at any time. I built it to $530 before cashing it all out (site was close to dead and I think it is dead now). Now on the gamingclub I came in 3rd out of 1200 2 times in a row in freerolls netting a total of $74. I have built it from there and havn't looked back yet.

Re: Starting a bankroll from $0
I started with a bankroll of 0 a few months ago and so it can be done. I won $2.50 in a freeroll and have been fortunate to build it into a tidy sum of money. Honestly though, the amount of effort to build up the first $50 really isn't worth it. If you are a decent player it would be much more advantageous to make a $50 deposit somewhere to save a lot of time and pick up a little bonus money too. Sorry, I have graduated beyond the freeroll stage so I don't really know where the good ones are anymore. My guess is look at the newer and smaller sites that are desperate to attract new players. Good luck and there is something especially satisfying about building a pile of money out of absolutely nothing |

Re: Starting a bankroll from $0
Start a real money account at pacific poker, but dont fund it. After a week for some and a month for others, they will give you a free $20 tro try.. They offer as low as 5cent/10cent, so you got a good shot at moving up as long as you dont jump up limits too soon and hit a bad run.

Re: Starting a bankroll from $0
Royal Vegas gives you a free $10 for signing up. You can play their 0.05/0.10 tables with that.
Off course, basically all sites require you to deposit before you can make your first deposit. |

Re: Starting a bankroll from $0
Started with $65 free from TGC during OIC last year.
Have built it into 8k, 700 from poker and the rest from casino whoring. So I am living proof its doable. |

Re: Starting a bankroll from $0
People have told similar stories about getting free chips at Paradise Poker but they got $2 instead of $20. But you can play 1c/2c RAKE FREE if and when you get it.
