Default Absolute Poker Bonus?

Any advice/opinions on the current Absolute 35% bonus, either
whether or not its worthwhile, or on clearing it if I did go for it? It seems like it will be pretty hard to clear.

I have done the initial deposit and multiple reloads. It is not hard to clear as every hand that you are dealt cards where the pot reaches $5 counts as a hand toward the bonus. Plus the play is not that great, at least at the NL tables.

Thanks for the input. I think I'll try it.

Absolute is a decent poker room...

Negatives:
- low player population, making it difficult to find full 9-player tables at times.
- resource intense software (can make it difficult to play multiple tables)
- bonus are regarded by most as being somewhat tough to clear due to the above mentioned facts.

Positives:
- the best first time deposit bonus, and very frequent reload bonuses
- relatively easy competition
- rake rebate availability

Well worth the effort. The last couple of months they have been having reload bonuses also, lots of easy money.

How would you go about getting a rake rebate at absolute? Is there a minimum that you have to play in time and or limits?

IMO, the software is nearly intolerable. I can barely distract myself on the web or chat because it uses so much memory - an intregal part of my game. While chatting, it has the annoying effect of default raising if the table pops up as you hit enter. Sometimes good for table image, but mostly maddening. In addition, the interface is busy and tough on the eyes.

You have to be very game selective, as you could find yourself getting pinballed at a table fulla LAG/TAG bonus-whores. The fish are there but you have to search for them.

I'm still there though for the quality bonus, but I've nearly cashed out a few times in exasperation.
