Default Ok, busted out of my home game...

...and drunk.

Now what? I guess i should have included a poll, but now I don't know how.

I'll buy back in soon, but for now I need to get some knowledge from the forums.

I hate it when that happens. Don't they know not to bust the host?

I hate it too. One time I was playing in a nice 8 player game and busted out in the first 45 minutes... stupid play on my part, of course, but hey, it's still my house. Watched TiVo for an or so before going back out to watch the rest of the game.

Sucks, man. All I can say is, just play tight until it gets to the halfway point, and don't push your luck unless you're sure you have the best hand.

Technically, they didn't bust out the host, I'm at Thrillhouse's place (fellow 2+2er) and he's the one that busted me. Oh well, the money is miniscual compared to normal stakes but there are so many players right now I'm waiting for others to quit before I buy back in.

I just like to post while I'm a little tipsy.

I busted the host of the game I played last Saturday. I feigned bad cards he and two others went all in and lost to my pocket kings. He was unhappy but said he didn’t have the cards and I played it very well.

Here's a simple bit of knowledge, if you are playing seriously, don't drink. If you're just f'ng around, get blasted then buy back in.

I busted my ride home about 30 minutes into a single-table tournament a couple of weeks ago.

I felt pretty bad.

Oh I can't wait to get back to college and drink my friends under the table... maybe we'll play for shots next game hahahaha. Or have a tournament where the winner wins a free case of beer provided by the other losers. Mmmm. Beer.

For my home game, we play in my kitchen, and the family room is set up as the 'loser's lounge'. For those not interested, they can rail bird or even center deal if they want, but for those who are interested, they can retire to the lounge and play Playstation/XBox/Gamecube while listening to music and drinking more beer. For the adventurous, I set up DDR and let them at it while buzzed.

Of course I never get the chance to join them myself as I am usually in the final two.
