Re: Too aggressive?

I really don't like the river checkraise. The A is more likely to be a scary card for him than to induce a bluff or have helped him. You'll miss a bunch of bets when he checks behind. Once you've checkraised and he 3-bets, I think it's pretty close between capping and calling. It's a 50-50 thing. I'd guess he's got a worse Aces up than you, but wouldn't be particularly surprised to see 66, 77, or 45 played this goofily. Yeah, I guess I'd cap. |

Damn guy DID have pocket rockets! He didn't raise any freakin' round until the river. I would note that I was behind from the get-go and after the flop was really drawing to only two outs (other than the BD flush draw). [/ QUOTE ] You need to erase the note that says your opponent is "reasonably good." P.S. 1/2 posts belong in microlimits. |

Re: Too aggressive?
I lead flop. I cap river too. If he had a set... he played it like a moron. If he got a straight on turn, he is dysfunctional.

Be thankful, he left a few bets out on the table.
