Mistake or not
Game is Hold em no limit - top 10 spots pay next 10 get money back.
160 competitors I am down to the last 60 or so. Blinds are $350 and $750 I am low on chips ($2000) The table has been tight and aggressive. I am on the button with 10 j offsuit and all of a sudden there have been 5 callers before me each for 2000 (total pot is about $11,000 including the blinds who are yet to act). If I call, I am getting good value for my hand. However, usually when you make a final stand in no limit you want to have at least an ace in your hand. Before I post what I did, what should I have done? |

Re: Mistake or not
Fold preflop. Your stack isn't deep enough for you to be getting good implied odds on your hand.

Re: Mistake or not
definitely a fold. u cant possibly expect to have even a remote chance of having the best hand at this spot. wait for a better opportunity

Re: Mistake or not
I would fold. Why go all in when you aren't a favorite? You can wait for better opportunities before the blinds come around.

Re: Mistake or not
I fold this 100% of the time here.
Get your money in when you are a favorite. |
