Default RENO TEXAS HOLDEM

WARNING: THIS POST HAS PROBABLY BEEN ANSWERED BEFORE
I appologize if this question has been answered before but i am going to Reno later this week and wanted to find out more about the texas hold 'em games there. I would prefer no limit but any information would be very appreciated. Also, how is hold' em developing in Reno? I havent been there in about a year and a half and imagine it has grown because of all the media coverage poker is getting right now.
Thanks

From what I've read in this forum about Reno, Circus Circus, ElDorado and the Peppermill have poker rooms.

I played at the El Dorado on Sunday afternoon. They had 3-6 and 4-8 limit, and an Omaha that I remember. I couldn't say if they had any NL or PL. There were about 7 tables in the room, 2 of which were empty, so they might have had NL. They have a board on a post that states what games are going, but I don't remember what was on it (too many Sierra Nevadas ). They also have a bad beat jackpot that is currently at about 32k.

The 3-6 game I played had a blind structure of $1 sb and $2 bb, so most hands there were 6-7 people in it. Expect to get beat by some truly wacky hands.

It was also a kill game and a raise pf when in a kill pot was about the only time a pf raise eliminated some players.

Good Cards,
NBB
