I think you overdid it here, a reasonably intelligent player will fold AJ here and only call with 2 pair or a set.

I don't like checkraising overpairs, especially on a flop like this. From his perspective it probably looks like a poorly played set of 8s or 3s. You're also in a lot of trouble if he checks behind and the turn brings an ace. Whether he has it or not it's going to make you sweat.

I'd bet the pot here, if he holds AJ or something he'll probably reraisae you. If he holds trash you aren't getting anything from him anyway unless he improves and then you lose your stack.
