30-60 5 handed hand
At work and I'm bored, so I figured I'd find out what others think. I suspect I'll get hammered for the preflop call.
The game is very aggro, with 2 seemingly decent regulars, 1 tightish unknown, and 1 definite maniac (he was playing 30-60, and a few days later he was playing 1-2.. ;p) Folded to the button(regular) who raises. SB folds, and I call from the BB with 5s3s. Flop comes 4h 3d 8s. I check, he bets, I raise, he calls. Turn is a Th, I bet, he calls. River is a Jc, I check, he bets, I call. Comments? Standard? |

Re: 30-60 5 handed hand
I hate the preflop call. Heads-up with 2 cards under 6? Blech.
Considering you called, I'd bet out on the flop. Give him a chance to fold before he's put money in post-flop. A checkraise will ensure he sees the turn. By the time you get to the river, well, I guess a call is ok at that point, but it just makes me wish I had never called preflop. :P B. |

Re: 30-60 5 handed hand
I really like the whole hand. The preflop call is just fine as long as the button's raise actually means something.
