Default Buffalo/Niagara Falls area?

Anybody here live in the Buffalo area? Or anywhere in Canada nearby (ie, Niagara Falls)? Just wonderin' if any 2+2ers are going to the new Seneca Niagara
poker room...

I used to travel up to Brantford, ON or down to Seneca Gaming & Entertainment in Irving, NY but now that Sen. Niagara opened it is way closer and convenient - still love the Brantford poker room though.

Also, anyone know if/when Casino Niagara in Canada is getting their poker room?

Does anybody know if Senaca runs any tournaments? I have not been able to find out any information. Also if they do, how are the tournaments?

Yeah, they do run tourneys Monday-Thursday at 10 AM.

Monday is LHE. Tuesday is NLHE. Wednesday is NLHE with rebuys. Thursday used to be O8B but is now PLHE with rebuys.

I did the Tuesday tourney one time. I found it to be very favorable...very passive players. I took 3rd with virtually no cards the whole day, just stealing a lot of pots preflop and on the flop after a PFR. Could have taken 1st but lost two little-better-than-coinflips down the stretch...shoulda chopped at 3 but it slipped my mind (each of us woulda made better than 2nd place prize money).

Only bad thing is the VIG was rather large - $20 of the $120 went to the house.

It was a good time though. Structure seemed decent - a little crapshoot-ish at the end but nothing too bad.
