I have 3 setups of A+ and have played with them at Pechanga too. I would rate them as 95% as good as Kem for 33% of the price. Some of the dealers at Pechanga say they prefer the A+ to the Kem. The A+ don't tend to have the face cards bow as much as teh Kems do over time.

Many casinos are not using KEM anymore and are moving to use the A Plus, as a former dealer I can definitely say that they are a significantly better card. After hours and hours of dealing the A Plus are much easier to shuffle and deal, they feel more solid than the KEM. They are more difficult to find than KEM though.

They use A+ cards at the Commerce casino. I agree with a previous poster in saying the A+ cards feel a little sturdier (thicker). It's hard to tell though cause in my home games, I get to shuffle and deal the KEM's. At Commerce, I just get to feel my two hole cards. I'm looking at the Kardwell International catalog that came with my KEM cards and it gives the following prices: KEM's are $26.50 a setup and A+'s are $20.00 a setup (~25% less).
I'm thinking about getting a setup of the A+'s for a more detailed comparison. |

I've bought KEM's for < $20 on ebay recently, new, and low shipping. Maybe you can get A+ for even cheaper there? I got more KEM's specifically for the "Pharoah" card backs, to match my new Egyptian chip set.
