Default Casino - Andrew Bloch

Andrew (former MIT BJ team member) gets booted from the Nugget before even playing one hand of BJ. Funny that TV crews were on him almost immediately and he had no problem allowing them to film him after the fact for a guy who should be protecting his anonymity. Also suspicious the fact that he made no attempt to remotely disguise himself.

OH. What was that? A Full Tilt Poker Jacket he was prominetly adorned in. I guess it made for good TV but to the informed no doubt a shamelessly staged promotion.

Maybe he's decided he wants a little fame from the popularity of his book. It's hard for a human not to get bit by the personal recognition bug.

Shameless self-promotion is one of mankind's more annoying of habits.

I thought it was odd he wore a Full Tilt outfit. Granted the informed know he broke no law... But given a choice do you give your money to the site run by guys being escorted out of reputable casinos by security ??? They got a little free publicity, however intended or not.

Did anybody else think this scene seemed really staged? It seemed like they were feeding him things to say, and the scene outside with his asian partner seemed really odd. I just thought if he's a professional card-counter, he might be a little more inconspicuous (although the security systems in Vegas are really good).

It was DEFINITELY staged. Well based on 3rd hand knowledge DEFINITELY lol. Before it aired I heard from some dealer at the Golden Nugget that they let some card counter in for the show so they could show them kicking him out. (Funny it turned out to be Andy) Also, I remember there being a cast call for the show. Everyone you see on the show got their because they responded to an open castcall.
