in all fairness I should tell you can take 1/2 of 9. In other words, the answer is a fraction.
You really didn't have to give this away. It's just a simple algebraic equation. They should be able to come to the solution themselves without knowing whether or not it's fractional. By giving people this hint, you're just encouraging them to try to solve the problem using the trial and error method, which is never the best way to solve a problem and won't help people become better at ML at all. GoT
