Is anyone managing to get the hourly rate claimed on bonuswhores.com when clearing the PartyPoker bonus? They say:
Limit Full Ring Short Handed $1-$2 $11.73 $17.89 $2-$4 $7.41 $9.60 $3-$6 $9.63 $13.11 $5-$10 $11.85 $18.66 I've played $5-$10 full ring and gotten about $7/hr and I tried $1-$2 full ring and got approx $5/hr, and $1-$2 6-handed and got about $9/hr. It seems like I'm off their numbers by a factor of two, with an admittedly very small sample size. Are their numbers way out of whack? Or am I just finding horribly slow games? Whichever is true ... any advice on clearing the bonus faster? thanks, -Huge |

If you're concerned with clearing the bonus ASAP to get the best hourly rate, and if you can hang with 5/10 shorthanded, just 4-table .5/1 on autopilot. There's not too much threat of running into good players (although there definitely are some of them), so you should eek out a few bucks in winnings (most of the time), but you'll also be clearing 100-150 hands/hr, netting you well over $20/hr.
Just my 3 cents |

I multi-tabled at Party .5/1 and it did not take long at all, I would say $12-15/hour is easily attainable.

Agreed... 4-tabling the .50/1 on Party is about the easiest way to clear a bonus there is. You can clock 150 raked hands per hour, sometimes more, and will probably win a little on the side while you're at it if you play ABC poker.

do 4 NL25 tables as each hand is raked if there is a flop. You dont have to worry about the pot being more than $5 like the limit games. Just buy in shortstacked and play premium hands and try to double once or twice and you can easily clear the bonus and make some money. Ive averaged $33 an hour.

I always have played 4 NL25 6-max tables when clearing bonuses at Party. Just about every hand is raked so it doesn't take more than a couple hours to clear it usually.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't realize that NL games were raked differently so that almost all hands are raked - that's helpful info for bonus clearing (and I like NL better anyway).
I still think the bonusWhores.com numbers are way off - I've been 3-tabling (4 makes my head explode) the $1-2 full ring games, and seem to be clearing about 50 hands per hour per table, which equates to about $7/hour. Has anyone else compared their numbers to the bonuswhores stats? thanks huge |

[/ QUOTE ] Well it equates to about 7/hour if you were single tableing. Sounds like it'll take you about 4 hours 3 tabling so lucky you you get to make 25 dollars an hour. I played 2 tables of 1/2 yesterday for a little over 4 hours and made 375 raked hands. So probably in the area of 8 hours to clear the bonus at two tables or around 12.50 an hour. As an added plus, I had a nice day and finished up 43 BB's. I've never been to bonuswhores though. --Zetack |

Just play 4 Party 1/2 6max tables; you'll churn out 300-350 hands per hour, and 80% of the hands get raked because Party starts the rake at $5 (2.5BB), so you'll be done with the bonus in 2 hours = $50/hour
