Default Hand against a maniac

This hand was in a 5/10 6 max game at Party against a maniac that tried to cap every hand preflop and on the flop. When I joined the table he had about $100. When this hand came up he had about $600 by raising as much as possible with anything and he was catching some miracle cards. Anyway, on to the hand.

We were currently 4 handed. UTG folded and I limped on the button with Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I decided not to raise because I knew the maniac would be happy to raise and I only had Q high. Who raises this and who folds it? The SB folded and the maniac predictably raised from his BB. I called.

The flop was J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], a pretty good flop for me . The BB bet, I raised, he 3 bet, I called.

The turn was the 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. The BB bet, I raised, he 3 bet, I called.

The river was the T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. BB bet, I raised, BB 3 bet, I called. I guess I question my play on all streets. Who puts in more bets?

Cap the flop for sure. It probably isn't a bad idea to cap the turn as well, given a KQ isn't very likely, especially against a maniac, and if they have a Q, then you split. I could go both ways on the river (raising or just calling), because JT is not an abnormal hand to be played that way. However, this is a maniac, so who knows...
